Haryana CM Announces New Incentives for Youth-Driven Startups
In his inaugural 'Mann Ki Baat' program of 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the startups in Ambala and Hisar, Haryana, expressing his delight that these cities are emerging as startup hubs in the country. He mentioned that the startup culture is not confined to just major cities.
Over half of the start-ups in small towns are spearheaded by our daughters. In response, the Chief Minister of Haryana, Shri Nayab Singh Saini, expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister. On Sunday, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini tuned in to the 118th broadcast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Mann Ki Baat program in Kaithal.
MLA Satpal Jamba, ex-minister Kamlesh Dhanda, and former MLA Leela Ram were also in attendance. Speaking to the workers after the event concluded, the Chief Minister mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has commended the startups in Ambala and Hisar, Haryana, during his 'Mann Ki Baat' program. The Chief Minister mentioned that Haryana also has numerous young entrepreneurs whose startups are currently exemplary, with turnovers ranging from Rs 100 crore to Rs 200 crore.
He mentioned that the state government is striving to position Haryana as a leading startup hub. The aim is not just to speed up the state's economic growth but also to generate new job opportunities for the youth, ensuring that Haryana establishes a distinct identity as the center of innovation and entrepreneurship in the nation.
The Chief Minister mentioned that the state government is currently evaluating new initiatives in the forthcoming budget for the fiscal year 2025-26 to support startups. Responding to media inquiries on this occasion, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini stated that the Haryana Government maintains a zero-tolerance policy against corruption. Corruption will not be accepted at any level.
