Haryana to Sponsor Elderly Pilgrims' Trip to Mahakumbh 2025
On Thursday, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini conducted a significant review meeting with administrative secretaries to assess the progress of various government schemes and projects. The Chief Minister issued several significant announcements and instructed the officials to prioritize the completion of these tasks.
The Chief Minister announced a significant update for the 'Teerth Darshan Yojana' beneficiaries. He stated that the state government will now facilitate their visit to the Mahakumbh snan in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. This program is designed for elderly and helpless individuals who are unable to embark on a religious pilgrimage. The state government will cover all expenses for their journey.
Chief Minister Saini issued a crucial directive as part of the cleanliness campaign. He instructed the officers to maintain cleanliness in their respective offices and to perform regular surprise inspections to ensure this. He stated that any lapses or negligence concerning cleanliness would not be accepted. CM Saini also emphasized that all announcements made by his government would be swiftly implemented and prioritized.
During the meeting, the Administrative Secretaries updated the Chief Minister on the advancement of the government's initiatives and programs. The Chief Minister gave clear instructions to all officers to accelerate the execution of these programs.

Chief Minister Saini also instructed the implementation of the Citizen's Charter in government offices. Saini mentioned that this charter should be enforced in all government offices to ensure that people can properly access their rights and services.
He also advised the officials that the advantages of government programs should be provided to all qualified recipients promptly, and there should be no carelessness in this matter. CM Saini and his colleagues will visit Prayagraj on February 7 to participate in the Mahakumbh bath. Special provisions have been arranged for those traveling to Mahakumbh from Haryana.
The Saini administration has organized accommodations and meals for 30,000 attendees from Haryana at the Maha Kumbh event, with provisions set up in Sector-18 by the Haryana government. He mentioned that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's (RSS) environmental activities organization has assumed responsibility for making the arrangements.
