Uttarakhand CM Dhami Initiates Crackdown on Unauthorized Madrasas

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced that the state government has launched a comprehensive verification process of madrassas across Uttarakhand to ensure all educational institutions adhere to legal standards and regulations.

Chief Minister Dhami stated that stringent measures would be implemented against those operating madrassas without the necessary authorization to ensure compliance with the legal framework.

Chief Minister Dhami stated that clear instructions have been issued for the verification of madrasas in the state. He emphasized that strict action will be taken against those operating madrasas illegally.

The verification process will involve evaluating the creditworthiness of madrassas, their infrastructure, and compliance with educational standards and government regulations.

The chief minister of Uttarakhand also responded to the remarks made by Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Akhilesh Yadav regarding the Mahakumbh.

CM Dhami said, "Those who oppose the Ram temple and attack kar sevaks will not grasp the significance of Kumbh. With preparations for the Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj intensifying, the Indian Railways has unveiled comprehensive plans to guarantee a safe and smooth journey for the millions of pilgrims traveling to the sacred city."

Dilip Kumar, Executive Director, Information and Publicity, Railway Board, shared details of the comprehensive plan to handle the unprecedented rush.
