Manipur Employees to Get 7% DA Increase in New Year
In the new year, the salaries of Manipur employees have increased. Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh has announced a 7% hike in Dearness Allowance.
After this increase, the Dearness Allowance will now be 39%. At present, the employees are getting 32% dearness allowance. This decision of the government will benefit more than 1 lakh employees of the state.
Government's New Year Gift
The new year 2025 has begun. At the same time, just before the New Year, the Manipur government has given a big gift to its government employees.
In fact, the Manipur government has decided to increase the Dearness Allowance (Manipur DA Hike) by 7 percent while giving a New Year gift to the state employees.
Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh announced this on Tuesday (December 31).
Loan of Rs 50,000 without any guarantee
Singh also spoke about several ongoing government initiatives to support entrepreneurs and start-up ventures.
He said that the state government has provided loans without guarantee to 426 internally displaced people under the Chief Minister's Entrepreneurship Assistance Scheme.
Under the scheme, the government is giving collateral-free loans of Rs 50,000 to people displaced due to caste violence.
Employment to 432 displaced people
The chief minister said around seven startups had been identified so far and ready to provide employment to 432 displaced people.
He also said that about 500 youths will be given residential skill training in Delhi to join Air India and IndiGo as cabin crew.
