Grand Ganga Aarti in Prayagraj
"We hope these children performing aarti will be inspired by everyone..." We want to give the message that there is no restriction in Sanatan Dharma.
Anushka Singh, one of the girls who performed the Ganga Aarti on Wednesday, said: "Today's aarti was performed by boys and girls together. This aarti will be performed every day during the Mahakumbh from January 11 to February 28 and everyone is welcome to witness it. "
Aarti before Kumbh Mela
Earlier, in preparation for Maha Kumbh 2025, North Central Railway has started special arrangements to ensure the convenience of pilgrims coming to Prayagraj.
Taking a digital leap, Prayagraj Division of North Central Railway has launched an innovative initiative to simplify the ticketing process through modern technology.
During the Maha Kumbh, dedicated railway personnel of the Commercial Department will be deployed at Prayagraj Junction and other key locations.
Long queues of passengers
These personnel can be easily identified by their green jacket which will have a QR code printed on the back. Pilgrims can download the UTS (Unreserved Ticketing System) mobile app by scanning this QR code using their mobile phones.
This app allows passengers to book unreserved tickets without standing in long queues. This unprecedented initiative is geared towards reducing the crowd at railway stations, allowing pilgrims to buy tickets seamlessly. By integrating digital payment options into the process, it promises to save time and provide a hassle-free experience for the millions of devotees attending the Mahakumbh.
Railway staff wearing green jackets will be stationed not only at railway platforms but also at other important places to assist pilgrims in ticket booking and provide necessary guidance.
