Preparations for the Kumbh Mela 2025 are going on in full swing in Prayagraj. Meanwhile, CM Yogi has used many new techniques for Mahakumbh. At the same time, CM Yogi is coming to Prayagraj today to review the works of Mahakumbh. CM Yogi will inaugurate the Pooja and Swachhta Aarti program at Dashashwamedh Ghat. This Mahakumbh takes place once in every 12 years. It is believed that all wishes are fulfilled by bathing in this Mahakumbh.

CM Yogi will take stock of Maha Kumbh

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit Prayagraj on Monday to review preparations for the Maha Kumbh starting January 13, 2025. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inspect the tent city set up at Naini, Arail, Mela Circuit House. In addition, CM Yogi will also hold a review meeting regarding preparations for Mahakumbh 2025. The Maha Kumbh, which is held once every 12 years, will start from January 13 and end on February 26, 2025, in Prayagraj.

Preparations for Maha Kumbh 2025 Underway

The main bathing festival, known as the "Shahi Snan", will take place on January 14 (Makar Sankranti), January 29 (Mauni Amavasya) and February 3 (Basant Panchami).

As part of the preparations for Mahakumbh 2025, 220 specialist deep-sea divers from the National Disaster Response Force and the State Disaster Response Force will be deployed in the Sangam waters. These divers with the help of 700 boats will be on high alert round the clock to ensure the safety of pilgrims during the holy bathing rituals.

In addition, teams of NDRF, SDRF, water police, Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) and healthcare workers will coordinate efforts to provide security to devotees during the Kumbh Mela.

According to officials, the Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (UPSTDC) will augment its tent-based deluxe accommodation facilities by setting up a 300-bed deluxe hostel within the Mahakumbh Mela area. This large-scale project, to be launched soon, aims to provide premium accommodation options for visitors. 

20 Small Stages Installed

The cultural department of Uttar Pradesh will set up 20 small stages at prominent locations in Prayagraj which will enable tourists, devotees and locals to experience the diverse cultural heritage of the country for 45 days.

Folk dances of different states of India will be presented on these stages. The Uttar Pradesh Police will integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced technologies in its CCTV systems to enhance the security of lakhs of devotees, Director General of Police (DGP) Prashant Kumar said on Wednesday.
