To elevate the spiritual significance and magnificence of Maha Kumbh 2025, the Uttar Pradesh government under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will uphold the esteemed tradition of showering flowers from helicopters.

This practice has become a symbol of respect for the timeless culture and faith. Prayagraj Divisional Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant mentioned that, under the Chief Minister's direction, flower showers have been arranged during various religious occasions such as Kumbh, Magh Mela, and Kanwar Yatra.

This esteemed tradition will persist during Maha Kumbh 2025, with plans for floral showers not only at Sangam Noj but also at all major ghats, considering the anticipated rise in the number of devotees.

A detailed action plan is currently being developed for this purpose. Since the inception of the Yogi government, the practice of showering flowers on devotees in Uttar Pradesh has become a symbol of reverence for Sanatan culture and faith.

Whether during the Kumbh Mela, the holy bathing festival, Magh Mela, or Kanwar Yatra, the government consistently honors the devotees with this heartfelt gesture.
