A businessman was shot dead by bike-borne assailants while out for a morning walk in Shahdara, northeast Delhi, on Saturday. Police reported that 7–8 rounds were fired at Sunil Jain near the Yamuna Sports Complex as he was returning home on his scooter.
A team from Farsh Bazar police station responded to the PCR call, but the 52-year-old succumbed to his injuries while being transported to the hospital. Authorities have initiated an investigation to apprehend the assailants and determine the motive behind the crime.
