Priyanka Gandhi Wins Wayanad Bypoll, Swearing-In on November 28

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is set to take the oath as an MP on Thursday, November 28, after achieving a remarkable win in the Wayanad, Kerala by-election. She clinched this seat with an exceptional performance in Wayanad.

In Wayanad, Priyanka Gandhi garnered 6,22,338 votes, while CPI's Satyam Mokeri was the runner-up with 2,11,407 votes. The BJP secured third place with their candidate Navya Haridas receiving 1,99,939 votes.

Priyanka's Two-Day Visit to Wayanad

Priyanka Gandhi is scheduled to visit Wayanad on December 30 and January 1 following the swearing-in ceremony. Sources indicate that Rahul Gandhi might also accompany her during this period.

Priyanka Gandhi is set to conduct seven roadshows across Wayanad and visit every assembly constituency during her two-day visit. Prominent party leaders and supporters will be present at her swearing-in ceremony.

Priyanka Wins Wayanad bypoll

On Saturday, Priyanka Gandhi secured a significant victory in the Wayanad Lok Sabha by-election, winning by over four lakh votes, which surpassed her brother Rahul Gandhi's winning margin in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

The 52-year-old Congress leader triumphed over CPI(M)-led LDF's Satyan Mokeri by garnering more than six lakh votes, aiding his brother Rahul Gandhi's victory in the hill constituency, where he had won twice since the 2019 elections.
