The BJP put in a lot of effort, and the support from RSS members played a crucial role. The credit for this significant victory also goes to them. We secured more seats than anticipated. Regarding the Chief Minister's position, he stated that since the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won the most seats in the Mahayuti alliance, the BJP has the primary claim to the Chief Minister's post. However, if there is a spirit of sacrifice and service, Devendra Fadnavis may go to Delhi, and the party will take charge in Maharashtra.

On the 'Bantenge to Katenge' slogan, he clarified that they never endorsed it, despite its use by Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, and emphasized that Maharashtra does not follow such practices. Voting for Maharashtra's 288-seat assembly took place on November 20, with results declared on November 23, where the ruling Mahayuti alliance secured 236 seats.
