Noida BTech Student Falls to Death from 14th Floor, Suicide Suspected

Noida: A 20-year-old man committed suicide by jumping from the 14th floor of Aditya Celebrity Homes Society in Sector-76, Noida. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took the body in possession and sent it for postmortem. In this case, the family of the deceased youth has not yet given a complaint in the police station. The police are talking about taking further action after receiving the complaint. ACP Twinkle Jain said that 20-year-old Kushagra Gupta lived with the family in B Block, Preeti Vihar, Delhi.

Young Man was on the Roof with a Companion

He was studying BTech from a reputed college in Noida. Around 3 pm on Friday, he came to Aditya Celebrity Homes Society to meet his friend Raghav Wadhwa. Both friends were talking on the roof of the building, when Kushagra Gupta jumped down. He died on the spot. Raghav's family informed about the incident on PRV. As soon as the information was received, the police of Sector-113 police station reached the spot. Police are questioning the deceased's friend about the incident.

Police is Investigating the Case

Police are scanning footage of CCTV cameras installed around the spot to ascertain the sequence of events. The family members of the deceased have also been informed about the accident. It is said that when the security guard of the society heard the voice, he rushed to the spot. However, by then the young man lying in a bloody condition had died. After the death of the young man, the people of the society gathered on the spot. Some people in the society claim that it is not suicide but murder. The police is investigating the case keeping all aspects in mind.
