It was stated that he handed over the responsibility of his luxurious bungalow in DLF Phase 1, Gurugram, to his elder brother, Vikas Kohli. As soon as this news broke, rumors began circulating on social media that Virat had transferred the bungalow to his brother as he shifted to London with his family. However, it is to be noted that this is not exactly the case.
Virat Kohli Property: Gave Vikas Kohli “Power of Attorney”
In fact, Virat only gave his brother “Power of Attorney.” This means that now, when Virat is outside the country, his brother will be handling all the matters related to his property. This is simply a way for a trusted person to handle property or important matters on his behalf.
Everyone is aware of the fact that currently Virat Kohli lives in London with his wife, Anushka Sharma, and children. Therefore, it is difficult for him to travel to India every time to handle matters related to the house or property. That is why he handed over this responsibility to his brother.

But when some people on social media claimed that Virat had “deeded the bungalow to his brother,” Kohli himself posted on Instagram to clarify everything. He wrote, “So much fake news spreads these days that it’s no longer surprising. Some people really have a lot of free time. Best wishes to you all.”
The star cricketer himself came forward to clarify that Virat hadn’t given the bungalow to anyone but had simply entrusted it to his brother to manage.
