Vaibhav Suryavanshi Record: India’s young sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi once again breaks a record. In the U19 ODI clash against South Africa, Suryavanshi, one after another, smashed boundaries and broke many records.

Suryavanshi smashed a half century in just 15 balls, making the record for the fastest fifty in youth ODI, breaking the record of Rishabh Pant’s in 18 balls against Nepal.

While chasing the score of 246, Indian U19 team opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi smashed a half century in just 15 balls, breaking the record of Rishabh Pant. Earlier, Pant smashed the fastest half century against Nepal in Dhaka in 18 balls during the 2016 Under-19 World Cup.

The India U19 stand-in captain Suryavanshi smashed 68 runs off 24 balls, including four fours and 10 sixes. So, now the 14-year-old holds the record for the fastest century in the tournament, scoring a century off 52 balls against England last year.

In the second Youth ODI against South Africa, the Men in Blue won the game by 8 wickets under the Duckworth-Lewis method. Many times rain disrupted the match, with India being left with a target of 174 runs in 27 overs to win.

South Africa was all out for a score of 243 runs in 49.3 overs. The Indian team got a good start all thanks to Vaibhav’s knock, but once again rain disturbed the game after the 11th over, and after the match was stopped for a long time, the number of overs also got reduced.

After that India was given a target of 174 runs. Thus, with that, India took the lead of 2-0 in the three-match ODI series.
