India won the toss and elected to bat first in this title match. However, the Indian team suffered an early setback with the dismissal of Aaron George, who was out after scoring just 9 runs off 11 balls.
However, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who came to the crease next, unleashed a storm that left the English bowlers stunned and the coaching staff in the dugout scratching their heads in disbelief.
