Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Exams: The Indian teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who earlier this month destroyed England in the U19 World Cup final against England will not be giving his Class 10 board exams. There had been doubts for days about the 14-year-old’s ability to take the important tests. Preparation time will always be limited because a large portion of 2025 will be devoted to overseas trips for India U19 and even India A.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Exams

From February 17 to March 11, Sooryavanshi, a resident of Tajpur, Bihar, who studies in Modesty School in Tajpur, was supposed to give Class 10 board exams. Manish Ojha, the left-handed batter’s coach, stated on Monday that Sooryavanshi will not be taking his board examinations since he is occupied with getting ready for the Indian Premier League season.
The young player has already started getting ready for the IPL 2026, which is scheduled to begin on March 26, and is anticipated to play a significant role in the Rajasthan Royals lineup.
“He will not administer the Class X tests. He is now training for the forthcoming IPL in Nagpur. Manish Ojha, Sooryavanshi’s coach, told.
According to Adarsh Kumar Pintu, director of the Modesty School in Tajpur, Sooryavanshi’s admit card and exam form have been sent in.

Vaibhav’s father, Sanjeev Sooryavanshi, also affirmed that his son will not be able to take the tests this year because his primary interest is still cricket. He did, however, add that the child will try his hardest to play for them the next year.
Vaibhav’s whole attention is currently on cricket; he is working hard and won’t be taking the tests beginning on February 17. According to Sanjeev Sooryavanshi,
“He will take the board exams next year.”
Sooryavanshi has been the talk of the town ever since he played in the IPL with the Rajasthan Royals last year. When he struck a 35-ball century against Shubman Gill’s Gujarat Titans, it was his breakthrough performance and the youngest and fastest by an Indian in the history of the event. The India A team then went on tour to England, Australia, and South Africa for a multi-format youth series, where Sooryavanshi scored a lot of runs and was compared to a young Sachin Tendulkar.

After being selected for India’s Rising Stars Asia Cup team, Sooryavanshi struck a century in the first game against the United Arab Emirates. But in the U19 Asia Cup final, he suffered a rare defeat as he was unable to get going against Pakistan. For the young player, the U19 World Cup also started softly. In the final versus England, Sooryavanshi showed off his full talent by hitting 175 off just 80 balls, including 15 fours and 15 sixes, despite recording a few fifties. The knock helped India reach 411, a feat the Boys in Blue easily defended as they bowled out England for 311.
Later on, he was selected as an opening batsman for the ICC’s Tournament Team.
