Travis Head Released: The Australian explosive batter Travis Head has been released from the ongoing five-match T20I series against India. The star opener Travis Head has been ruled out of the remaining two matches against the Men in Blue. The series is scheduled to end on November 8th, but Head’s series came to an end even before that.

Indeed, Travis Head has been released from the T20I team due to preparations for the Ashes 2025 series. He is the third Australian player to withdraw from the ongoing series. Josh Hazlewood and Shaun Abbott have also previously left the T20I series due to Ashes 2025 preparations.

Travis Head participated in the first three T20I matches against India. However, the first match in Canberra was washed out due to rain. In the second match, he scored 28 runs from 15 balls, and Australia won by four wickets. In the third T20I, Head returned to the pavilion after scoring just six runs, and India won the match by five wickets.
Travis Head To Play Domestic Cricket

Cricket Australia has sent Travis Head back to play in the next round of the Sheffield Shield so he can prepare for the Test format. Travis Head’s absence is sure to increase pressure on Australia’s top order, as he was considered one of the team’s most reliable batters in this series.
The Ashes 2025 series will commence on November 21. The first match will be played in Perth, the second in Brisbane on December 4th, the third in Adelaide on December 17th, the fourth in Melbourne on December 26th, and the final test in Sydney on January 4th.
