Smriti Mandhana Records: The year 2025 will be one of the best for Smriti Mandhana in terms of cricketing success. The left-handed Indian opener broke the record of the five-digit mark in international cricket, scoring her 10,000 runs in women’s international cricket, joining an exclusive list of only three other players.

Mandhana was 27 runs short when she played the fourth T20I against Sri Lanka in Trivandrum; after that, she joined the elite list of Mithali Raj, New Zealand’s Suzie Bates, and England’s Charlotte Edwards, players with 10,000 runs in women’s cricket.

Smriti Mandhana has scored 5322 runs in Women’s ODI cricket, 4022 runs in Women’s T20Is, and 629 runs in test cricket and has appeared in 281 international matches to reach the mark, even 10 matches quicker than Mithali Raj.

In 2025, Smriti Mandhana helped India to lift their maiden Women’s World Cup Trophy at home. She now has 17 centuries to her name across all formats, with two in test cricket and one in the T20I format, but is seen dominating in ODI cricket with 14 after scoring nine of those in the last two years.

In the fourth T20I against Sri Lanka, she finished with 80 runs off 48 balls, smashing 11 fours and three sixes in the first innings. She also had 162 runs, and the opening partnership with Shafali Varma helped India post a score of 221/2.

The fifth T20I between India and Sri Lanka will now be played on December 30, 2025, in Thiruvananthapuram.
