The reason behind their wedding getting postponed was that on the wedding day, Smriti’s father, Srinivas Mandhana, fell ill and had to be hospitalized immediately in Sangli Hospital.
A day later, it was learned that the groom, Palash Muchhal, was also admitted to the hospital. At the moment both have been discharged from the hospital, but none have announced the new date for the couple’s wedding.
