Shukri Conrad Comment: South Africa head coach Shukri Conrad made a lot of headlines in recent times. During the Test series against India, Conrad used the word “grovel” for the host team, for which he received a lot of criticism.
However, after India’s win in the five-match T20I series against South Africa, the Proteas captain gave credit to the Indian team for their excellent performance. India clinched the five-match T20I series against South Africa by a margin of 3-1 after winning the final T20I in Ahmedabad.

Speaking at the press conference after India’s 30-run win against the Proteas, Conrad was asked about his take on the Indian team.
At first, Conrad looked a bit hesitant, but after that, he stated India as the best T20 team ever.
He said,
“Ever’s a long time, but they’re certainly close to it. Hell of a side; you need to be on top of your game all the time. Look at the way they come in and play with the bat; they constantly put bowlers under pressure from ball one. Similarly with the ball, they’ve got a few match winners.”

India won the T20 World Cup 2024, remaining unbeaten in the tournament. After that Suryakumar Yadav took the helm of the team, and under him India did not lose even a single series.
Further, Conrad said,
“To answer your question, I can’t think of a better side, to be brutally honest, so they must rank right up there.”
