In the first test played between India and South Africa at the Eden Gardens, Temba Bavuma won the toss and opted to bat first. Shubman Gill Doubtful For Second Test

On Sunday, the former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly went to the hospital to check on Shubman Gill’s condition and speak to the medical staff about treating him.
No doubt, Gill’s absence in the final innings played a key role. Chasing 124, India failed to do so at the Eden Gardens. Without the Indian captain, the middle order looked very weak, and they were all out for 93. This was India’s second lowest failed chase at home; in response to that, South Africa took a 1-0 lead in the series.
Now, it will be interesting to see if Gill can recover till the second test in Guwahati or not, which will commence on November 22.
