He clearly stated that the constant questioning about Babar Azam should stop immediately. The captain believes that when a player is performing well for his team, he shouldn’t pay attention to outside criticism. He appealed to the media to let Babar play in peace.

Meanwhile, the Australian cricket team, captained by Mitchell Marsh, has arrived in Lahore. A three-match T20 series is to be played between the two teams. This is considered the last preparation for Pakistan before the T20 World Cup. However, it is still unclear whether the Pakistan team will be able to participate in the World Cup or not.
The Pakistan government has not yet given its approval. Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, after meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, said that all options are open and a decision will be made soon. It is reported that this decision may come by Friday or next Monday.
Pakistan has expressed its displeasure over an ICC decision in which Scotland was included instead of Bangladesh. Bangladesh had refused to play in India due to security reasons. Pakistan also wants to clarify its position on this issue. Pakistan has announced its squad for the T20 World Cup. The team is largely the same as the one that will play against Australia. Only fast bowler Mohammad Wasim Jr. has been left out of the World Cup squad, although he will be part of the team for the series against Australia.
