The player who has gone viral on social media as Rohit Sharma’s twin is Mumbai wicketkeeper batter Hardik Jitendra Tamore. Tamore made his debut in first-class cricket for Mumbai during the 2019-20 Ranji Trophy. From the start he contributed for his teams as the wicketkeeper who could also contribute with the bat in the middle order. His biggest breakthrough came in the year 2020-21 Ranji Trophy, a year in which Mumbai reached the final. In the semifinal against Uttar Pradesh, he scored an unbeaten century, an innings that highlighted his temperament and ability in knockout matches.

The wicketkeeper batter made his debut in List A in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and since then has been a regular part of the Mumbai team in white-ball games, including the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. While he is yet to produce some good runs in the limited-overs cricket, the management of Mumbai continued to back the player for his discipline, reliability, and all-round value to the domestic side.
