Rishabh Pant Injury: Ahead of the three-match test series between India and South Africa, Rishabh Pant suffered an injury against South Africa A, giving the Indian team an injury scare. He retired hurt while batting for India A against South Africa A at the Bengaluru in the BCCI Centre of Excellence.

In the 34th over of India A’s second innings, Rishabh Pant returned back, getting retired hurt on 17 runs off 22 balls. In the first session of the third day, Pant was struck on his helmet and body three times, and after some time, the fast bowler Tshepo Moreki forced him to return back to the pavilion.

Pant came out to bat at No. 5 in the third over after KL Rahul was bowled for just 27 runs. He hit Okuhle Cele for two boundaries and six in the innings but struggled to continue this form.
