Rinku Singh Threat: The Indian star batter Rinku Singh is facing a threat as underworld don Dawood Ibrahim is after him. He has recently received threats from the underworld. The Dawood gang sent Rinku three threatening messages between February and April this year. The D-Company demanded a ransom of Rs 5 crore from Rinku Singh. Now, the police have taken major action in this case and have arrested two people.
Rinku Singh Threat, Gets Message From The West Indies
Police have arrested two people in connection with the threat case against Rinku Singh. One of them has confessed to making the threat to the Indian cricketer. Surprisingly, both of the accused ransom demands are from the West Indies, and they were arrested there. The names of the accused are Mohammed Dilshad and Mohammed Naveed; the West Indies have handed over both accused to India.
Rinku Singh News: Ransom Demanded On Messages
Dilshad demanded a ransom of ₹5 crore from famous Indian cricketer Rinku Singh. He sent his first message on February 5, 2025, at 7:57 am, which is stated as,
“I hope you’re well. I’m your biggest fan, and I’m so happy you’re playing for the KKR team. Rinku Sir, I hope you continue your hard work. One day you’ll reach the pinnacle of your career. Sir, I have a request: if you can help me financially, Allah will bless you with even more progress, Insha’Allah.”
According to the accused, when Rinku Singh didn’t receive a response to his message, he sent another message to Rinku Singh at 11:56 pm on April 9, 2025. He wrote,
“I need ₹5 crore. I’ll let you know the time and place.”
When Dilshad received no response to his second ransom message, he sent another message in English at 7:41 a.m. on April 20th. It simply read,
“Reminder! D-Company.”
Demanded Ransom From Zeeshan Siddiqui Too
Following the murder of former MLA Baba Siddiqui, police arrested these two accused for demanding a ransom of ₹10 crore from his son, Zeeshan Siddiqui. After their arrest, what emerged shocked the police. One of the accused confessed to calling Rinku Singh and demanding the ransom.
