Mohammad Amir Prediction: Former Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Amir’s prediction is going in the right direction after India’s defeat to South Africa in the 1st clash of Super 8 at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Ahead of the crucial game in Ahmedabad, Amir stated that India won’t be reaching the semi-finals, as South Africa and the West Indies are the teams that will be making it to the last four, and not India. This prediction by Amir gave him many trolls on social media, as Indian fans were not able to digest this statement by him.
Mohammad Amir Prediction

The Men in Blue faced one of the worst defeats by South Africa by the hosts by 76 runs. Apart from the loss, India’s net run rate took a hit, and the race for the semifinal has become tougher for India in times to come.
After the India vs. South Africa clash ends. Amir appeared on a Pakistani channel for the post-game debate and burst out laughing when he was called “astrologer” by the anchor. Everyone gets reminded of Amir’s initial words, where he called Indian opening batter Abhishek Sharma a “slogger” who doesn’t have any other gear in the batting.
The program started off with introducing Amir, where the anchor said,

“The thing that our Pakistani team is not able to do, our panelists are doing by sitting in the studio in Lahore. Mohammad Amir first called Abhishek Sharma a slogger, and since then, Abhishek has not been able to find form in the tournament.”
Further, he added,
“He then said India won’t play the semi-finals, and it seems that India is listening to what Amir stated. Let’s welcome astrologer, cricketer, and left-arm pacer Mohammad Amir.”
After listening to this introduction, Amir cracked up, stating,
“Kya bana diya hai mujhe? Allah maaf kare (What have you turned me into?)”
India’s Horrific Game With The Bat

In the Super 8 first clash, India got bundled out for just 111 runs in the chase of 188 runs, losing the match by 76 runs. Ishan Kishan goes for a duck, Tilak Varma goes back soon, and Abhishek Sharma goes back, scoring just 15 runs.
Shivam Dube was the only player in the chase who contributed with his bat, scoring 42 runs and helping India cross a mark of 100 runs. Earlier, South Africa posted a score of 187/7 in 20 overs; David Miller’s masterstroke helped the team score 63 runs.
The Men In Blue will now be facing Zimbabwe on Thursday, February 26, at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
