As soon as Bumrah took his first wicket, he achieved a milestone in T20 International cricket that no other Indian bowler had achieved before him. He became the first Indian bowler to complete a hat-trick of centuries (100 wickets) across all three formats.

With his first wicket, Bumrah completed 100 wickets in his T20 International career. With this, he became only the second bowler for India to take more than 100 wickets in T20Is. Before him, Arshdeep Singh had achieved this feat. Importantly, Bumrah reached this milestone in 81 matches, which proves his consistency and lethal bowling skills.
