Australia A had set a giant target of 412 runs, which India A achieved with the loss of 5 wickets, to which all credit goes to KL Rahul’s blistering 176 runs and Sai Sudarshan’s century.

India A won the toss and elected to bowl first, but Australia A, batting first, smashed 420 runs. In response, the Indian batsmen collapsed for just 194 in the first innings, giving the opposition a massive lead of 226 runs. However, in the second innings, the Indian bowlers made a comeback and restricted the Kangaroos to 185 runs, setting India a target of 412 runs.

Chasing this mammoth target, N. Jagadeesan and KL Rahul added 176 runs for the first wicket. Rahul initially retired hurt but later returned to the pavilion to play an unbeaten, match-winning knock of 176 runs. Sai Sudarshan also scored a brilliant century. Captain Dhruv Jurel’s 56 and Nitish Kumar Reddy’s unbeaten 16 helped India A register a historic 5-wicket victory.
