He smashed 61 runs off 46 balls and helped the team to reach a suitable score. But the Indian fast bowlers steal the show by bowling out South Africa for 117. India’s leading wicket taker in T20Is, Arshdeep Singh, took 2 wickets, giving away 13 runs; Harshit Rana, Varun Chakaravarthy, and Kuldeep Yadav took 2 wickets each, whereas Shivam Dube and Hardik Pandya took 1 wicket each after the hosts chose to bowl first.

When India came to bat, the chase looked very easy, but as time went on, it didn’t look as easy as it was looking at the start. Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill gave a good start to the team, making an opening partnership of 60 runs. But when Abhishek was at the wicket, the Indian batting looked very slow; one after another, wickets started to fall. At the end it was Shivam Dube and Tilak Varma who took the responsibility and finished the game in 15.5 overs. Dube ended the game by smashing a four and a six in Dharamshala.

The fourth T20I between India and South Africa will be played on December 17 at the Ekana Cricket Stadium. Now it will be interesting to see whether India will continue to dominate in the series or South Africa will be making a comeback in the 4th T20I.
