David Warner BBL Century: In the ongoing Big Bash League, David Warner smashed his second BBL century and ninth of his T20 career against the Hobart Hurricanes in game number 21 of the ongoing BBL 2025-26 season.

After failing in the first four matches of the Big Bash League, 39-year-old David Warner scored an incredible century on Saturday. Playing for Sydney Thunder, Warner played a magnificent innings against Hobart Hurricanes. He has retired from international cricket and was also struggling with poor form in the BBL.
Warner completed his century in just 57 balls and then scored a total of 130 runs off 65 balls. During this innings, he hit 11 fours and 9 sixes. Thanks to Warner’s innings, Sydney Thunder posted a massive total of 205 runs in 20 overs.

Apart from David Warner, no other batter from the team managed to score a half-century. Matthew Gilkes, who opened the innings with him, was dismissed for a golden duck. Not only that, but Sam Konstas, who came in at number three, was also dismissed on the very first ball. However, after that, Sam Billings contributed 20 runs, Nic Maddinson 30 runs, and finally Daniel Sams added 14 runs, taking Sydney Thunder’s score to 205/4.
