Blessing Muzarabani In KKR: After a successful season in the T20 World Cup 2026, Blessing Muzarabani has been signed by the Kolkata Knight Riders for the upcoming IPL 2026 for a hefty amount. After getting the contract from the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Zimbabwe fast bowler has withdrawn from the Pakistan Super League (PSL), where he was supposed to play for Islamabad United.
Blessing Muzarabani In KKR

Muzarabani became part of KKR after the franchise released Bangladesh cricketer Mustafizur Rahman on the instructions from the BCCI. After getting released from the IPL, Rahman has joined Lahore Qalandars, who are the current champions of the PSL, which will commence from March 26, two days before the IPL.
The Zimbabwe star now becomes the second player after South African all-rounder Corbin Bosch to take back his name from the PSL in order to play in the IPL.

Last year Bosch was signed by Peshawar Zalmi as a last-minute deal as an injury replacement for Lizaad Williams at Mumbai Indians, seeing the South African turning up in India. Due to his PSL, a one-season ban was made on him; now it has to be seen whether the same will happen with Muzarabani or not.

Rahman was bought for ₹9.2 crore in the IPL auction by the Kolkata Knight Riders, and as per the latest confirmation, Muzarabani turns out to be a replacement of Rahman. Talking about the Muzarabani experience, he took 90 wickets in more than 80 T20 internationals with an average of 21, with best figures of 3/8.
