AFG vs BAN 3-0: The ongoing ODI series between Afghanistan and Bangladesh has now come to an end, and Afghanistan has created history by winning this series. In the third ODI, Afghanistan won the toss and elected to bat first. Initially, Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored 42 runs, and Ibrahim Zadran played a brilliant knock of 95 runs; together, they built up a 99-run partnership. However, the middle order came under immense pressure after that, and wickets fell one after the other. Meanwhile, Mohammad Nabi played a solid innings, scoring an unbeaten 62 runs off 37 balls, hitting four fours and five sixes, and giving the team a respectable total.

Same as batting, Afghanistan’s bowling was also excellent, dismissing the opposition for just 93 runs. This secured a massive 200-run victory and a 3–0 clean sweep in the three-match series.
Newcomer Bilal Sami, playing only his second ODI, took 5 wickets (5/33) and was named Player of the Match. Rashid Khan took three more wickets, taking his tally total to 11 wickets in the series. Azmatullah Omarzai’s start with the new ball gave the team a good start and secured early wickets.
AFG vs BAN: Ibrahim Zadran Player Of The Series

Ibrahim Zadran was named Player of the Series in this series for his exceptional performance. He scored a total of 213 runs and scored two half-centuries.
This victory was a historic moment for Afghanistan as it marked their first complete series whitewash against Bangladesh. Overall, it was also their eleventh victory in ODI cricket. Afghanistan now sets its sights on a tour of Zimbabwe. A single Test match will begin there on October 20th, followed by three T20 Internationals in Harare from October 29th to November 2nd.
