Abhishek Sharma Climbs ICC T20I Rankings, Joins Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli in Elite Group

Abhishek Sharma impressed everyone with his batting in the Super 4 stage match between India and Pakistan last Sunday. He played a key role in India's victory with an explosive innings of 74 runs off 39 balls at a strike rate of nearly 190. He had also scored 38 runs against Oman earlier.

Now, Abhishek has been rewarded for this impressive performance, receiving a significant boost in the ICC T20I rankings. He has also set a new record.

In fact, Abhishek Sharma has gained 23 points in the ICC T20I rankings after consistently performing well. His total rating points have reached 907. With this, Abhishek Sharma has become the third Indian player to reach the 900 rating point mark.

Before Abhishek, Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav had also achieved more than 900 rating points in the T20I format. Surya has achieved the highest rating points at 912, while Kohli has achieved the highest at 909.

In addition to Abhishek Sharma, captain Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma also gained in the T20I rankings. Tilak has moved up to third, while Surya has moved up to sixth.
