That's What Pakistan Is All About: Madan Lal Reacts To 'Pig' Remark On Suryakumar Yadav
Former Pakistani skipper Mohammad Yusuf has made it to the headlines after he continuously called Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav a "pig" during a discussion on a channel. This reaction of his came when Suryakumar Yadav didn't shake hands with Pakistan skipper Salman Agha during the India vs. Pakistan Asia Cup 2025 Group A match.
When Mohammad Yosuf said that remark, the anchor was shocked and kept correcting him, but he didn't listen and continued to target the Indian captain.
He said,
"India are unable to get out of their filmy world; India should be ashamed of the way they are trying to win—using umpires and torturing Pakistan through the match referee. It is a high note."
However, the former Indian all-rounder Madan Lal criticized Yosuf for his cheap comments made about the Indian captain during a live show.
He said,
"See, that shows the character of Pakistani people. How can you abuse someone? They only know these sorts of things. Abusing someone is totally wrong. How can a cricketer who has played at the highest level abuse someone? That is utter stupidity."
The former Indian cricketer didn't stop there; he even called Yosuf an uneducated person, stating that such people shouldn't be allowed to sit on live television.
He said.
"They are not educated people. That's why they do such things. This didn't happen during our playing days. I understand sledging and all, but abusing someone on live television is not the right thing to do. That's what Pakistan is all about. That is why their cricket is suffering. They are frustrated people because they are losing a lot to India."
"They do this for publicity. We should not talk about such people on live television."
The Indian players didn't shake hands with the Pakistani players as they faced them for the first time after the Pahalgam attack, where many innocent people lost their lives.
