Virat Kohli Clears Fitness Test In England, Eyes Comeback In Australia Series

Virat Kohli all set to make comeback in ODIs against Australia after clearing fitness test

The Indian star batter Virat Kohli seems to be fully ready to return to the field once again, but now in the ODI format only, as he has announced his retirement from the T20I and Tests. For this, he practiced hard and recently passed his fitness test in London. The surprising thing was that Kohli did not give his fitness test at the BCCI Center of Excellence (COE) in Bengaluru, India, but rather in England.

According to the latest reports, Virat is currently in London with his family, and he gave the fitness test there after the permission of BCCI. This test was conducted in England under the supervision of the board's physiotherapist and strength and conditioning coach. In this way, Kohli has become the first Indian cricketer among the current players to give a fitness test abroad. After Kohli passed the fitness test, it is now believed that he can return to the field in the three-match ODI series against Australia next month.

Earlier, many players, including Indian team captain Rohit Sharma, had passed the fitness test at the COE in Bengaluru last week. These include players like Mohammed Siraj, Shubman Gill, Jitesh Sharma, Prasidh Krishna, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Abhishek Sharma, Harshit Rana, Shreyas Iyer, Rinku Singh, Axar Patel, Rajat Patidar, Ravi Bishnoi, Sanju Samson, Shivam Dubey, Mohammad Shami, Varun Chakraborty, Mukesh Kumar, Hardik Pandya, Sarfaraz Khan, Tilak Verma, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav, Dhruv Jurel, Shardul Thakur, Washington Sundar, and Yashasvi Jaiswal. Apart from this, players like Ravindra Jadeja, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Akash Deep, and Nitish Reddy are also going to give their fitness test soon.
