The Indian star batter Virat Kohli is one of the most loved cricketers of all time among every generation worldwide. A picture of him went viral on social media, which raised concerns among fans. Recently he clicked with a guy in London; as of now the identity of the person has not come out, but the thing that caught everyone's attention was Virat Kohli's grey beard. It really shows that he is growing old, as he looks totally different; the grey beard states the fact that he is 36, close to turning 37 soon. Previously he made his last public appearance at an event hosted by former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh on July 10, but Kohli's recent appearance has left fans shocked and concerned.

Before the start of the five-match test series against England, Virat Kohli announced his retirement from Test Cricket, the format to which he gave his everything. To which, during an event, he broke silence on his decision to retire from Test Cricket.

He said,

"I just colored my beard two days ago. You know it's time when you are coloring your beard every four days."

This is not the first time fans caught his attention on Virat's grey beard. In July 2023, Kohli posted a photo with his wife, Anushka Sharma, in which his white beard caught more attention than the post.

Indian captaincy is not a cakewalk; it is one of the most responsible things or responsibilities that every Indian player wishes they would get once in their cricketing career. In fact, when Kohli stepped down from test captaincy in 2022, Anushka, in her caption, wrote a line stating,

"I remember MS (Dhoni), you and I having a chat, and him joking about how quickly your beard will start turning grey. We all had a good laugh about it. Since that day, I've seen more than just your beard turning grey. I've seen growth."

Kohli retired from T20I cricket last year after India won the T20 World Cup 2024. T20I retirement was something that was on the card, but Test retirement broke each and every cricket fan's heart. He left the whole shocked cricketing fraternity on May 12 when he announced his retirement from Test Cricket after having a glorious 14 years in Test.

The 36-year-old was expected to make a comeback this month, but as the Bangladesh tour gets postponed, fans have to wait for his appearance on the cricketing field. He is now expected to play for India in October, when the Indian team will be traveling to Australia, whcih will be featuring three ODIs and five T20Is.
