After the third test at the Lords, both teams got an eight-day-long break ahead of the fourth test. The Manchester Test will witness numerous changes in the teams' playing XI, particularly in the bowling department.

Ahead of the fourth Test, in a press conference, Indian captain Shubman Gill said,

"It is not ideal when you have to, after every match, kind of have to go back and have a different combination. But it was something that I was prepared for before the series: that there would be a scenario where I would have a different combination for every match. So, I kind of planned it before the series how we are going to go about it."

MAJOR CHANGES IN INDIAN TEAM

According to the reports, Shubman Gill's side will see some crucial changes in the fourth Test. There are chances that Sai Sudharshan, who didn't get a chance after the first test, might get a chance in the fourth test, replacing Karun Nair. Nitish Kumar Reddy, who has been ruled out of the series due to injury, might get replaced by Shardul Thakur, and last but not least, Anshul Kamboj might debut in the Test at the Manchester test.

The fourth test is all set to start at 3:30 PM IST, but it looks like destiny had some other plans. According to AccuWeather, there is a 49% chance that rain might affect the game, and it might rain at the time of the toss.
