ICC Reveals Women's World Cup Schedule, India-Pakistan In Colombo
The ICC has released the schedule of the Women's ODI World Cup 2025. This time the tournament will be played in India and Sri Lanka. The tournament will begin on September 30 between India and Sri Lanka at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The final match will be held in Colombo or Bengaluru on November 2, depending on whether Pakistan reaches the semi-finals or not.
The match between India and Pakistan will be played in a neutral venue, i.e., Colombo, this time. This match has been scheduled for October 5. Due to tension between the two countries, this match will not be held in India.
India has to play some big matches in their group stage. India will face South Africa on October 9 and Australia on October 12; both matches will be held in Visakhapatnam. After this, England will face Indore on October 19 and New Zealand on October 23 in Guwahati. India's last league match will be against Bangladesh in Bengaluru on October 26.
If Pakistan reaches the semi-finals, the first semi-final will be played in Colombo, or else it will be held in Guwahati. The second semi-final will be held in Bengaluru on October 30 and the final on November 2.
The high-voltage match between defending champions Australia and runners-up England will be played in Indore on October 22.
