Shikhar shared a post with Sophie Shine on his Instagram account and wrote in the caption, "My heart". During the Champions Trophy 2025, a picture of Shikhar Dhawan went viral in which he was seen with a mystery girl. The picture quickly went viral on social media. Now many media reports are claiming that the girl was Sophie Shine, who is from Ireland.
Recently, when Shikhar Dhawan was asked by an anchor about his girlfriend and her name, he initially opposed the question, but then he said, "I will not name anyone, but the most beautiful girl in the room is my girlfriend". After this, the camera was focused on Sophie.
This is a new chapter in Dhawan's love life. Earlier, Dhawan was married to Australia's Ayesha Mukherjee. The couple got married in 2012 but decided to separate in 2021. Meanwhile, Dhawan on Wednesday heaped praise on Vaibhav Suryavanshi, the youngest player to score a century in the IPL, saying the 14-year-old's confidence belies his age and his performance will inspire aspiring cricketers across the country. Vaibhav became the youngest player to score a century in IPL by scoring a century against Gujarat Titans. He scored a century in 35 balls against Gujarat, which is also the second fastest century in IPL history.
Dhawan, who is the first player to score two consecutive centuries in the IPL, also heaped praise on Ayush Mhatre, who has made a mark this season.
