Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan Instagram Ban In India After Pahalgam Attack Outrage
Following the tragic terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India has blocked Instagram accounts of Pakistani cricketers Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shahid Afridi, along with Olympic gold medallist Arshad Nadeem. This move comes after similar actions against Pakistani actors and YouTube channels, reflecting India's stringent response to the incident that claimed many lives.
Problems are not taking a name to end for Pakistan after the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam. After the accounts of getting blocked of popular actors and actresses like Hania Amir, Sajal Aly, Mahira Khan, Atif Aslam and many more, now the turn has come up of Pakistani cricketers Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Shahid Afridi getting blocked in India. Not only this, the Instagram account of Olympic gold medallist javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem was also blocked. This strict action was taken by the government after the terrorist strike in Pahalgam, which took the lives of many innocent people, stating it as one of the scariest strikes ever in history.
In the recent attack, mostly tourists lost their lives on April 22. Till then, the government are taking every action which is in their hands.
The users in India who are visiting the profiles of concerned people are seeing on screen that the accounts are not available in India.
Earlier this week, many Pakistani YouTube channels were also restricted in India, and among these former cricketers, Shoaib Akhtar, Basit Ali, and Shahid Afridi were among the ones whose YouTube accounts were withheld.
