Since then, he has played 14 T20Is for Pakistan and scored just 88 runs. Azam Khan often faces criticism due to his fitness problems. Despite appearing aggressive in franchise cricket, Azam has faced criticism for his indiscipline and unfit attitude. Recently, former Pakistan captain Younis Khan has urged Azam to take control of his diet in order to have a long and successful career in cricket.
Younis said that one can control one's habits, enjoy good food and stay healthy and Azam desperately needs to focus on his fitness. "We all enjoy eating burgers – I do too – but as professional athletes we have to show control. Diet and discipline are important at this stage. If Azam Khan wants to have a long and successful career, fitness should be a top priority for him. There are no shortcuts."
Currently, due to the ongoing Pakistan Super League, Pakistan is making new headlines every day. However, the broadcast of the Pakistan Super League may be in jeopardy in the coming days, as cross-border tensions escalated after the Pahalgam terror attack, due to which all experienced Indian crew members in the PCB roster can be changed. Pakistani terrorists are said to be behind the killing of 26 Indian nationals in Pahalgam.
"Since the PSL production and broadcast crew comprised more than two dozen Indian nationals, steps are being taken to replace them," a PCB source said. The broadcast and production crew comprises engineers, production managers, cameramen, player-tracking experts, all Indian nationals, ensuring smooth coverage of the PSL."
After a meeting in Islamabad on Thursday, the National Security Council announced that all Indian nationals present in Pakistan should leave the country in the next 48 hours.
