Delhi Capitals Secure Third Win, Beat Gujarat Giants by 6 Wickets in WPL 2025

The 10th match of the Women's Premier League (WPL) was played between Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Giants at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Delhi Capitals won the match by 6 wickets. For Delhi Capitals, Jess Jonassen scored a half-century while batting brilliantly.

Chasing a target of 128, Jonassen took full advantage of batting at number three and scored an unbeaten 61 off 32 balls, while Shafali Verma scored 44 runs off 27 balls. Thanks to which Delhi Capitals achieved the target by losing 4 wickets in 15.1 overs. There were still 29 balls left in the innings.

Delhi Capitals started poorly to chase the target. Captain Meg Lanning was dismissed for just three runs. However, Shafali Verma and Jonassen shared a 74-run partnership for the second wicket to bring Delhi Capitals to victory.
