Yograj Singh Comments On India's Picks For Champions Trophy 2025
Former Indian cricketer Yograj Singh shared his views on Team India's squad for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025. On Saturday, Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar and Indian skipper Rohit Sharma held a press conference to reveal the 15-member squad for the upcoming Champions Trophy and ODI series against England.
In a latest interview, Yograj Singh said that Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma should not be dropped because of their poor form. If they get dropped from the squad, then the team will fall apart. He also wanted to congratulate the board and think tank selectors and appreciate those people.
"I really want to congratulate BCCI and the selectors who supported the team. I have always said that Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli should not be dropped; if you drop them, then your team will fall apart. We may have lost in Australia, but we should not forget that we have beaten them in two matches. I was worried that 5-6 people should not be dropped; Shubman or Virat should not be dropped, so I was supporting them. I think this is the best thing that has happened. I want to congratulate the board and think tank selectors. I appreciate these people."
The ICC Champions Trophy will kick off from February 19 to March 9. The matches will be played in Pakistan and Dubai. India will play their matches in the UAE under a hybrid model. India's campaign will start on February 20 against Bangladesh.
