Vinod Kambli Hospitalised Again, Shares Emotional Moment With Doctors
Former Indian star player Vinod Kambli has been admitted to the hospital again after his health got worse over the weekend. He is currently in Thane's Akruti Hospital, where he's been getting examined by the doctors and has seen a sign of recovery from clots that has been detected in his brain. He has been in the spotlight over the last month due to his poor health and struggles due to financial conditions.
The 52-year-old recently made a public appearance at Shivaji Park in Mumbai honouring the late Ramakant Achrekar, who coached him and Sachin endulkar. After that, many videos of him went viral on the social media where he was seen struggling to speak and get up on his own. After all these things, he opened up on his health and said that he was doing better but suffered some health issues. He gave all thanks to his wife and children, who stood up with him during difficult times.
"I am better now. My wife takes care of me a lot. She took me to 3 different hospitals and told me, 'You have to get fit.' Ajay Jadeja also came to visit me. It felt nice. I was suffering from a urine problem. It was just flowing. My son, Jesus Cristiano, picked me up and brought me back to my feet. My daughter, who is 10 years old, and my wife came to help me. This happened one month ago. My head started spinning; I collapsed and fell down. The doctor told me to get admitted."
"I am alive because of the doctors here" - Vinod Kambli
On last Saturday night, his health got worse again, and he was suddenly taken to the hospital. Now, when he is on the road to recovery, he shares an emotional moment with the doctors from his bed, holding the hands of doctors, thanking them for saving his life.
"I am alive because of the doctors here. All I would say is that I will do whatever the doctor asks me to. People will see the inspiration that I'll give to them."
Kambli can be seen having a smile on his face, which even shows he is recovering. The reports suggest that he is doing much better, greeting doctors and staff for taking this much care of him in this tough situation. His treatment is taken care of by the hospital in charge, S. Singh, who assured him of life-long free treatment.
