Australia Dominates Pakistan In 3rd T20I, Stoinis Leads The Charge

On 18 November 2024, the third T20I match was played between Pakistan and Australia, and with that, Pakistan's tour of Australia ended with a defeat. Pakistan had already lost the series by losing both matches. Among all these things, when the team needed a skipper the most, Rizwan rested in the third match.

Team Pakistan won the toss, and Captain Agha Salman decided to bat first. But from the beginning, Pakistan's batsmen looked helpless in front of the Australian bowlers. Pakistan's team could not even bat the entire 20 overs and was all out for just 117 runs. Babar Azam scored the most runs from Pakistan's team. Babar Azam scored 41 runs in 28 balls, and Adam Zampa bowled Babar.

Australia, who came out to chase the target of 118 runs, did not start well; their 2 wickets fell for 30 runs. Then Marcus Stoinis, who came to bat, smashed the Pakistani bowlers with his shots. Stoinis played a match-winning innings of 61 runs off 27 balls. Australia chased the target given by Pakistan in the 12th over. Shaheen Afridi, Jahandad Khan, Haris Rauf, and Abbas Afridi took one wicket each.

Marcus Stoinis was given the Man of the Match award for playing the best innings of 61 runs. Spencer Johnson was given the Man of the Series award for bowling well throughout the series. In the first part of the tour, i.e., the ODI series, Pakistan defeated Australia 2–1 and captured the series. Now in the T20 series, Australia has taken revenge by defeating Pakistan. Now Pakistan's next tour is to Zimbabwe, while Australia has to play the Border-Gavaskar series with India.
