BCCI has taken action for the first time after India's defeat at the hands of New Zealand. In this meeting, the BCCI discussed about India's poor performance, Jasprit Bumrah being rested from the third Test, making a rankturner wicket in the Mumbai Test and Gautam Gambhir's coaching style in detail. After this meeting, it is being said that if the Indian team loses in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, then two separate coaches of India's white ball and red ball will be appointed.

Indian team captain Rohit Sharma, coach Gautam Gambhir, selector Ajit Agarkar, BCCI secretary Jay Shah and BCCI president Roger Binny attended the meeting. There was a lot of discussion on coach Gautam Gambhir's coaching style in the meeting. The BCCI's top official is not happy with Gautam Gambhir's performance. Gautam Gambhir's coaching style looks quite different in front of Rahul Dravid's coaching. The BCCI also appeared against the decision to drop vice-captain Jasprit Bumrah from the third Test. Together, the BCCI was also angry over the decision to make a rankturner pitch in the third Test.

GAUTAM GAMBHIR TROUBLE TO INCREASE

Gautam Gambhir's troubles may increase after the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. A BCCI source told PTI that,

"It was a marathon six-hour meeting. Which clearly was bound to happen after such a defeat. India is going on a tour of Australia, and the BCCI would obviously like to make sure that the team gets back on track in this series and would like to know what the think-tanks (Gambhir-Rohit-Agarkar) are doing about it. '

Team India will leave for Australia in two batches on November 10 and 11.
