In the modern era of cricket, this format has led batsmen to score runs in a more aggressive style while playing anchor innings for the team as well. The format consists of only 20 overs, so depending on the position one comes to bat and how many runs he scores, all determines the outcome of the game. 5) David Warner 

Australia’s former opening batsman was one of the best players in the shortest format of the game. During his career, Warner appeared in 110 T20I matches for Australia and scored 29+ fifties, which includes one hundred as well. Out of Warner’s 29+ fifties, 17 came in wins, with 11 chases and six while batting first. This shows his ability to score big in crucial situations. 

4) Mohammad Rizwan

Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan has proved himself to be a fantastic batsman in the shortest format of the game. He has always stepped up for his team and scored runs in crucial situations. So far, Rizwan has scored 30+ fifties in T20I and currently ranks No. 5 in the ICC T20 rankings. He also has one T20 ton to his name, with his best score being 131*. His most fifties came in wins, 11 while batting first and nine in chases. 

3) Rohit Sharma 

Rohit Sharma made his T20 debut in 2007 and etched his name to the format in the T20 World Cup that year itself. With time, Rohit’s skills got better and better and he became one of the most aggressive batsmen in the format. During his T20 career, Rohit registered 37 50+ scores, which includes five hundreds as well. Sharma ended his T20 career with 4231 runs, with 121* being his best score. 

2) Virat Kohli 

The Indian batting veteran Virat Kohli started as a lower-middle-order batsman and eventually cemented his place up to the top, where he has most fifties. “The Run Machine” played 125 T20 matches before retiring and scoring 39 50+ scores off which 16 came while chasing, while 10 and the only hundred in batting first. Kohli announced his retirement from the T20 format after winning the 2024 T20 WC.

Pakistan’s Babar Azam started his T20I career in 2016 and quickly made his mark in the format. Babar has played 123 T20 matches so far and amassed 39 50+ fifties, which includes 36 fifties and three centuries as well. His best score in the format is 122 and all of his 50+ scores have come above the No. 3 position.
