T20 is the shortest format of the game and because each match is just 20 overs, even a single ball can make a huge difference. Bowling a no ball in a T20 match is not less than a crime because there have been many instances where matches got off a team’s hand because of a single no ball. Cricket has seen many impressive bowlers who have the ability to change the game single-handedly, but on few occasions the bowlers have stepped out of the bowling line, bowled a no ball and cost the match.

The Sri Lankan legend Lasith Malinga was one of the most impressive T20 bowlers during his time. He played 84 T20 matches and took 107 wickets. Malinga also led Sri Lanka to their maiden T20 World Cup title in 2014. However, he also bowled the 4th most no balls in T20 International. During his T20 career, Malinga bowled 14 no balls.

The former Australian right-arm fast bowler Brett Lee was an incredible bowler. He has delivered numerous commendable performances for his team. However, he couldn’t resist bowling no balls. Brett Lee tops the list for bowling most no balls in tests and ODIs and is third in the list for bowling most no balls in T20s. He bowled 17 no balls in T20s during his career. 

2) Arshdeep Singh 

Arshdeep Singh made his T20 debut in 2022 and since then he has been performing greatly for the Indian team. He was the leading wicket taker for India in the 2022 and 2024 T20 World Cups. However, within three years of his T20I career, Arshdeep is second on the list for bowling most no balls. So far, Arshdeep has bowled 17 no balls in T20 format. 

1) Morne Morkel 

Former South African bowler Morne Morkel played 44 T20 matches for South Africa and took 47 wickets. He has bowled the most no balls in the format. Morkel bowled 19 no balls in the T20 format during his career.
