Indian Army To Be Honored At IPL 2025 Final In Ahmedabad

The BCCI has prepared a special plan to make the final match of IPL 2025 memorable. This time, before the final match, a special ceremony will be held to honor the Indian Army. The event will be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on June 3, where the courage of the country's army will be saluted.

BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia himself confirmed this. He said that this time before the final, he will be specially honored remembering the contribution of the army. It is being told that this decision has been taken after the recent 'Operation Sindoor', in which the Indian Army destroyed the hideouts of terrorists in Pakistan and PoK.

Chief of Defence Staff Anil Chauhan, Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi, Navy Chief Dinesh Tripathi and Air Force Chief AP Singh will also be invited to the ceremony. The BCCI wants to make this event full of patriotism and pride.

According to sources, there will be a performance of the army band in the stadium and some famous singers will also create an atmosphere with patriotic songs. In this season of IPL, the national anthem was also sung before every match to say thank you to the army and messages of "Thank You, Armed Forces" were shown on big screens.

In fact, this year the IPL was also stopped for a week when 26 people lost their lives in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. After this, the tension on the Indo-Pak border had increased and the BCCI decided to stop the IPL. Later, the tournament resumed when the conditions got better.

This is not the first time that the BCCI has shown their respect to the army. In 2019 too, after the Pulwama attack, the inauguration ceremony was dedicated to the Army and Rs 20 crore was given to Army Welfare.

Now the fans are eagerly waiting for June 3, where along with cricket, patriotism will also be seen.
