On Thursday, Royal Challengers Bangalore batsmen were seen having a lot of fun at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium when heavy rain rained in the city. They enjoyed swimming in the rain at the site. His teammates were seen running away from the field but David decided to wear shorts and swim on water-soaked cover. After he returned to the dressing room, some of his teammates clapped while the rest of the players were surprised to see him getting wet. RCB posted a video of David on his official social media handle in which he is seen having a lot of fun.
Tim David has been one of the best-performing players with the bat for RCB in IPL 2025. He has scored 186 in eight innings at an average of 93 and a strike rate of 193.75. On Saturday, RCB has to face Kolkata Knight Riders on their home ground. KKR will have to win this match to keep their hopes alive in the playoffs.
If RCB wins their match against Kolkata on Saturday, then they will become the first team to qualify for the playoffs this season. RCB and KKR went head-to-head on March 22 in the inaugural match of this season. He had restricted KKR to a score of 174/8. Krunal Pandya took three wickets. In reply, RCB chased down the target easily thanks to brilliant half-centuries from Phil Salt and Virat Kohli. RCB captain Rajat Patidar also smashed a quick knock of 34 runs off 16 balls as Royal Challengers won the match with 7 wickets and 22 balls to spare.
