Fans Criticize Jasprit Bumrah's Behavior During SRH vs MI Match

On Wednesday, Mumbai Indians got a strong 7-wicket win against Sunrisers Hyderabad, after which they reached the third place in the points table. The team has been benefited greatly by the return of Jasprit Bumrah. However, Bumrah is being slightly criticized for his behavior during the match against Sunrisers. When SRH batsman Abhinav Manohar hit a six off Bumrah, the 31-year-old bowler bowled him a quick full toss ball that hit him straight close to his waist and he fell to the ground. However, Bumrah did not go to Manohar even once to check him and went straight back to his bowling mark. Fans are criticizing this behavior of Bumrah.

Manohar hit a six off Bumrah's second ball in the 13th over. On the very next ball, Bumrah tried to bowl a yorker, which proved to be a full toss and hit Manohar, causing him to fall to the ground. But instead of looking at Manohar, Bumrah went straight back. Fans on social media were not at all happy with Bumrah's reaction.  

Bumrah also completed his 300 T20 wickets in this match. He has become the fourth Indian bowler to achieve this feat. During the match, Bumrah took one wicket for 39 runs in 4 overs. He got the crucial wicket of Heinrich Klaasen who was playing a brilliant innings for SRH and scored 71 runs.

Jasprit Bumrah has played five matches in IPL 2025 so far and has taken five wickets at an average of 31.60, out of which his best performance is 2/25. After this match, Bumrah has 300 wickets in 238 matches, with his best performance being 5/10. He joins Ravichandran Ashwin (315 wickets), Bhuvneshwar Kumar (318 wickets) and Yuzvendra Chahal (373 wickets) in the list of Indian bowlers to take 300 wickets.
